How metering works

Calls are metered by weight, not a flat rate — a light lookup costs the least, a full filing parse the most, with the same weights on every plan across REST and MCP. You never have to guess: the exact credits a call spent come back in the X-Credits-Cost response header, alongside X-Credits-Remaining. Webhook delivery is unmetered.

Every plan, including the free tier, reaches every source and endpoint — SEC filings, SAM.gov contracts, USAspending awards, Grants.gov grants and Congress trades — over REST and MCP.
